Levante v Barcelona

Levante will face Barcelona at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia in a Primera Division fixture that could mean little to the Catalan Giants if they are already crowned champions before the game takes place. That is unlikely though and the Barcelona team will have to seal victory against Levante if they are to be certain of winning the league
With just two games remaining following the Levante fixture Barcelona will just have to hang on to their eight point lead to claim the title on Wednesday. Real Madrid will have played the day before and should have the better of Getafe so mathematically they could still win but Barcelona would have to mess up on a monumental scale.The Levante players who were promoted last season have done enough to stay up and at ninth in the table the fans can be happy with their results. The last time they played Barcelona was in January when they lost by two goals to one but they put up a good fight and that will all the fans will be asking for on Wednesday.
